Released.
And, we're live.
The downloads went up for Google Web Toolkit 1.2 this morning. I'm excited about it. It's the first official release I've been involved in since I got to Google . Plus, there's some good stuff in there: A number of bug fixes, some serious speed improvements to hosted mode, and (something I'm very proud to have been involved with) full support for OS X.
I know I've mentioned GWT a few times here and never stopped to give a decent explanation of what it does. Well, you're in luck. It also turns out that I was able to explain just such a thing to a much larger audience over at the Google Mac Blog . The friendly folks who run that blog contacted us shortly after we posted a release candidate and asked if we were interested in posting something. Psshaw, yeah!
