Man, I got bogged down in this one. I wanted to do something other than level curves and I got stuck on the idea of text. After many failed experiments, something started to wash ashore. The idea was to recover text from just a few critical points that fall along the letter. The points alone left very kludgy looking forms, so I compromised and brought in the concept of masking. You guys consider masking an implied form, right? This first experiment is, again, driven with my new found fascination with Béziers. Also, special thanks to campers Burak and Amber, who helped me overcome designer's block.
