| Týnský chrám: "Church of Our Lady before Tyn" My favorite of all the cathedrals I saw in Europe. The facade is half hidden and you have to follow a passageway to even reach the front doors. It is a wonderful dark Gothic architecture with an eerie presence at night. | |||

| Karluv most: "Charles Bridge" - The oldest bridge in Prague is immensely popular. The crowds gather all along the statue-lined bridge trying avoid the vendors, dodge the dancing Hare Krishnas, and check out the spectacular views of the castle and river. | |||

| Staromestská radnice: "The Old Town Hall" is the home of the Astronomical Clock, shown below, and one of the main attractions in the Old Town Square. The Town Hall was created in 1338 and later refurbished in Gothic style; it is now the area of Prague with the most tourist per square foot. | |||

| orloj: "Astronomical Clock" - On the hour every hour, this is the place to be. When the clock strikes, the Twelve Apostles do a little dance for the tourists in the upper windows, while several other figures join in on the face of the clock. Amazingly, it still works even though it was created in the 15th century. | |||
